Liquid film: a type of material that is classified according to the form of film material, i.e., a membrane formed by liquid material as a separate medium, also called a liquid membrane or liquid membrane. The membrane separates and separates two gas phases, gas-liquid two-phase or two-phase immiscible liquids, such as emulsion liquid membranes and supported liquid membranes.
Solid film: a membrane made from solid material as a separate medium, also called solid or solid film.
(1) symmetrical membrane: generally refers to the membrane of each part has the same characteristics, the pore structure does not change with the depth of the film. The film thickness ranges from 10-200 to M.
(2) asymmetric film: made of the same material, one layer is dense separation layer, the thickness is usually 0.1-0.5 mu m; the other layer or multilayer (such as inorganic membrane) as the support layer (its thickness is 5-10 m).
